My mom said that as a toddler, I often walked around in diapers with a notebook and crayon, speaking to my doll babies in a language only they understood. As I got older, I was awarded the Future Teacher certificate at daycare and again in the 3rd grade. In the first grade, I was selected to lead my elementary school in the daily Pledge of Allegiance during announcements. I've always enjoyed reading, writing on the chalkboard, and helping my friends with their school assignments. Although I wasn't always allowed to help, there were moments when I was chosen to assist my classmates, which always made me smile. It's been my lifelong aspiration to become a teacher, and I pray that someday my dream of becoming a teacher will become a reality.
